Graphic Letters / Reports

I was excited to get rehired by RCS Logistics for the updated installment of their sustainability report. Once again I was tasked with presenting stats, goals, and priorities in an engaging format but with an updated, fresher take on what I produced last year.

The bulk of work for this report was the custom illustrations that are featured on each page. I'm thrilled to have been able to add this skill to my repertoire since the 2019 report and I can't wait to use it in other projects as well to create tailored designs for clients.

Every winter the yacht club I work for in the summer puts out a letter outlining the calendar, introducing the coaches, reminding parents and sailors of program policies, etc. In the past it's been a lackluster Google Drive document, and this year I decided to amp up the excitement by employing some of the skills I learned in my classes.

Parents were thrilled and the letter was fun to read! Another success.

My final class of my Advertising degree from the University of Georgia's Grady College consisted of building a campaign from start to finish with a team of eight other students. As a part of the creative team, my role was largely brainstorming concepts and designing the look of the final book in its entirety. It was a fantastic experience and I'm grateful to Grady for a well-rounded senior capstone class that truly prepared me for life post-graduation.

Summer newsletters was an addition to the routine this season. What used to be sent over email to the parents was now packaged in a colorful medium. Each week I reviewed the events of the previous week and reminded parents of what was to come. I included my photography and designed layouts that flowed nicely so the readers enjoy the mini publication.

In this featured PDF, the children's names have been changed, their faces have been blocked out, and any information pertaining to them has been hidden for protection.

This report was in culmination of a Social Media Analytics class as part of my Advertising Degree at Grady College. My group put together a full analysis of their social media accounts and of the conversations concerning them on the internet and collected key actionable insights that led to recommendations to make their media presence stronger and grow their reach.

Research was a group effort but design was all my own.
The McGill Symposium for Journalistic Courage is a gathering put on by Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia every fall. The report summarizes each of the four topics discussed by the lecturers and serves as a time capsule documenting the spirit of the symposium.

More reports from previous years can be found on Grady's website.

2020 edit: I'm happy to report that the above sustainability report I completed in 2019 now rather repulses me! But in a self-critical way. When I completed the 2020 report, I immediately wanted to purge this one from my website but decided against it because I think it's important to note growth in under a year. See the first report on this page for a product I'm very proud of!

2019 Caption: This report was created over the span of a few months in 2019 for RCS Logistics. They were in search of a designer who could display their sustainability report in an engaging way, and I worked to deliver on that goal.

This was the largest and most important design project I've had to date because of the magnitude of the report, the challenging layouts, and countless revisions and meetings on the adjustments that had to be made. Overall I'm really proud of how it turned out!
